In the sacrament of Initiation there are 3 sacraments, Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. I will show you what these sacraments mean and the symbols that represent them.
3 sacraments of Initiation
Baptism
Baptism is the first of the 7 sacraments. It represents that a new member is being welcomed into the church. The most common age that a child will get baptized is around 4-10 months old, that is when most kids will but it really doesn't matter.
Eucharist
The sacrament of Eucharist is where you are finally allowed to be given the Holy communion, Body of Christ. That is the bread that you are given when you go up the front during Mass
Confirmation
Confirmation completes the 3 sacraments of Initiation. It is being confirmed in the catholic church. When you have completed the 3 sacraments of Initiation you will be a member of the catholic church and you will be able to eat the bread and drink the wine at mass.
